The Prospect Anchor and Tool Locking Undercut Anchor (PAT UC) is designed to provide cast-in-place performance as a post-installed anchor. The anchor is designed for static, dynamic and seismic loading in both cracked and uncracked concrete. The anchor is installed in a fixed-depth hole with an undercut cavity at the bottom. The expansion sleeve fills the undercut void during setting to transfer loads via bearing forces rather than side wall friction. The undercut anchors design and embedment allow for predictable ductile performance of the anchor. PAT UC anchors can be loaded immediately upon installation.
The pre-drilled hole and undercut cavity are created using tools produced by PAT. PAT tools and locking undercut anchors are for use with hammer drills equipped with SDS plus chucks. Installation is quick and reliable with PAT’s locking mechanism. Once engaged the locking rings assure the anchor has expanded in the undercut cavity. Anchors are available in ASTM A193 B8M, 316 Stainless Steel. Type 316 Stainless Steel can be used in exterior applications and those that require a high level of corrosion resistance.
Designed for drilling precise pilot holes, our conventional drill bit ensures smooth and accurate penetration. Its durable construction allows for consistent performance, making it a reliable tool for anchor installation.
The undercut tool is engineered to create the necessary undercut in the drilled hole, ensuring a secure and load-bearing fit for the anchor. Its design allows for a smooth cutting process, making installation both quick and effective.
The setting sleeve is an essential tool for proper anchor installation, ensuring that the anchor is positioned and expanded correctly within the undercut hole. It simplifies the setting process and helps achieve consistent, reliable results.
